Join us for the opening event of the “Itinerancies” series organized by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. Several film screenings, talks and panels with filmmakers, writers, scholars will be focusing throughout the semester on the question of mobility: mobility of people, languages, and objects across national borders and cultural traditions. This series aims at bringing us and our students together to engage in a conversation that crosses the linguistic boundaries of the disciplinary areas we represent.
We thank Latin American and Latino Studies, African & African American Studies, Communication & Media Studies, Comparative Literature, the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs, Political Science, and the FCRH Dean for their generous support.
